 Safety Starts With YOU! 

While we all must work together to ensure a safe work environment, it is important to note that safety begins with first taking care of our individual responsibilities. Only after you have taken care of your own checklist should you focus on those of your coworkers.

Safety Check List

Workplace is clean and orderly.
Floors are clear and aisles, hallways, and exits are unobstructed
Floor surfaces are kept dry and free of slip hazards
Stairways, sidewalks, and ramps are free of defects (e.g. damaged treads, frayed carpet)
Illumination is adequate in all common areas and workstations.
Emergency evacuation plans are posted at every stairway and elevator landing, and immediately inside all public entrances to the building.
